The Southern California city of Whittier is a member of the Gateway Cities and is located in Los Angeles County. In addition to the City of Industry to the north and numerous other unincorporated San Gabriel Valley villages largely along its northern borders, Whittier is bordered to the northeast by the community of Hacienda Heights.
