The city of Sacramento is home to a wealth of culture and history, from the world-famous skyline and Tower Bridge, to the State Capitol and plenty of beautiful parks. The area is walkable and beautiful with its tree-lined streets; however, it is also very expensive, loud, and crowded! Whether working in the city or just wanting to be close to it, there are still many neighborhoods just outside of Sacramento that have become favorites of locals. Some of Sacramento’s best neighborhoods include:

Midtown

Within walking distance to almost everything while still quieter, Midtown is known for its nightlife and convenience. It’s one of the best downtown-like experiences you can get without actually living downtown.

Home to old Victorian homes, Mansion Flats is close to nightlife and activities, while staying more affordable than other areas such as East Sacramento.
