Tip #1 – Stage Your Empty Rental Property

One of the biggest problems that most landlords face with their rental listings is that their pictures show empty rooms with precision vacuumed carpet and most prospective renters will not know what those spaces should be used for.

Instead of taking pictures of empty bedrooms you should rent furniture for a weekend and stage your rental property just so prospective renters can see how space should be used and envision themselves living there.

Tip #2 – Take High-Resolution Pictures

Don’t use your mobile phone to take pictures, use a dedicated camera to take high-resolution pictures instead.

High-resolution pictures will make your rental property stand out online from the wide variety of listings that have grainy or dark photos that were taken with older model digital cameras.

Tip #3 – Write A New Listing

Stop using the old rental property listing that you wrote five years ago.

Take the time to write a new rental listing that also includes information about amenities and other points of things to do nearby that may be of interest to your future renters.

Your listing should also include schools nearby and commute time to other points of interest nearby just so your prospective tenants will know if it’s the right rental for them or not.
